A busy warm and rainy season otherwise known as summer

Who said summer was the time to kick back and relax? Where are those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer? Those days of soda and pretzels and beer? We had what felt like a vacation in Napa for several days after all the medical tests and meetings were done. We returned from the mainland after learning that Judy's arteries are clear with no blockages. We met with the TAVR (transluminal aortic valve replacement) Team which was not one meeting, but a series of back to back meetings with many members of the team. Judy is a clear candidate for this procedure which is now scheduled for July 30 @ Kaiser in San Francisco. We are heartened by the fact that Kaiser SF does 18,000 cardiac procedures per year. They have it down!!! We really appreciate all the support from friends and family during this time. You have been wonderful and we really want to say a hearty thank you (Mahalo, in Hawai'i).
