Watching and waiting

The rainy season has definitely started. There are 2 seasons in Hawaii: Warm and Less Warm. May clearly began the warm season and with it came the rain. It rains almost daily, usually starting about 3:00 pm. This of course is great for the tropical jungle in our area. However, absent a roof on the house, it means the downstairs gets filled with water and Judy and Mike are regular rain water removers from the downstairs. A good wet/dry vacuum, with the filter removed, does an excellent job. We are trying to prevent mold and mildew getting into the walls downstairs. And, with the water on the floor, spending time building the climbing wall downstairs is not part of the program. So, when will the roof be put on the house? We are hoping within the next 2 weeks. Next week the glue lams and the trusses are supposed to arrive. And with them, a boom truck crane will be required to lift and place them where they need to be. We are told 20 glue lams. Quite the project. All this to have open be
